Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion serve our parish community by assisting in the reverent distribution of the Eucharist during Sunday liturgies at St. Christopher Parish. Through this ministry, they help ensure that the Body and Blood of Christ are shared prayerfully and respectfully with all who come forward to receive.
Many of these dedicated lay ministers also bring Holy Communion to those who are homebound or residing in nursing facilities, extending the presence and comfort of Christ to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass. This outreach is a powerful expression of our parish’s care and unity.
Training and formation are provided for all who feel called to serve in this sacred ministry.
